Working with a wide range of different people for over 10 years, I don't think there's much I haven't heard or helped with before! On the 'Life Coaching' page, I list some areas I feel I have particular expertise in (low self-esteem / confidence, anxiety, depression etc.). However, please get in touch to see whether I can help with your unique goals
I always start by spending time conceptualizing your main difficulties and goals to get a clear understanding of what you're experiencing. This helps us develop a plan of action - what do you need? What is getting in the way? How can we get there together? The SMART goal framework is often helpful with this (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-framed)
I’ve seen both have incredible, life-changing impacts on peoples’ lives and it’s useful to have a think about the differences and which might be a better fit for you and your current circumstances:
Both approaches involve creating long-lasting change, investing in yourself and your quality of life and both provide safe, supportive, non-judgmental spaces
This is completely up to us to agree! But it can helpful to know 'short term' life coaching is generally around 6 sessions, with 10-12 being the average. 20+ would be 'long term'. We can decide how many together and we can review throughout - sometimes we need a few more and sometimes we find we didn't need as many as planned. We can be flexible!
To get started, you can choose either 30 minute or 50 minute sessions. Later, we can tweak session length to match your needs e.g. sometimes we might plan a longer session in, if we know we're going to be exploring something in a lot of depth. Sometimes having just 1 or 2 sessions per month is helpful, especially during the latter stages
Rates are $60 per 30min session and $100 per 50min session. If a block of sessions are booked in advance, I’m very happy to offer a discount. If financial circumstances are causing an obstacle, please get in touch as I always offer some 'sliding scale' slots to make coaching more accessible
Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practice. I follow the ICF's Code of Ethics, which includes guidelines for maintaining client confidentiality
