I draw on key approaches during coaching sessions, via both theory and practical skills and techniques, to help you gain a better understanding of:
Approaches I have training in and experience delivering include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness.
I like to draw upon these approaches to create a truly personalized life coaching plan. We are all unique individuals, so I strongly believe in delivering a tailored experience, fitting exactly what you want and need.
I can offer life coaching in a range of different formats to suit:
A lack of confidence can have far-reaching impacts. It may have started recently, due to challenges or stresses, or it could be more long-standing, linked to difficult earlier experiences. Whatever the cause, we don't have to feel like this forever. Life coaching can develop a healthier, more positive and more accurate sense of self.
This threat-based emotion is so easily set off and can stop us from doing things outside of our comfort zone and can impact on socializing, our physical health and our sleep quality. Anxiety can also appear out of nowhere in the form of panic. There are a wide range of strategies we can use to overcome anxiety and feel more in control.
The pressures of modern life can often set off some periods of low mood. Once we're feeling down, our motivation, drive and energy are impacted, which can cause some additional difficulties. It's all too easy to fall into a vicious cycle. Life coaching can help you break free, boost your mood and get you back to your true self.
Feeling overwhelmed, burnt out and unable to prioritize ourselves are all too common. We can work together to identify your stressors, decide which can be problem solved and learn new coping strategies to balance out the ones we can't.
Relationships are complex dynamics which we can often struggle to navigate. We can work on communication skills, empathy and understanding, and conflict resolution strategies to help build healthy and fulfilling relationships.
Life coaching can help you achieve your professional goals; whether that's support in identifying your strengths and skills, rediscovering your values and passions or overcoming imposter syndrome and other barriers to progressing.
Becoming a new parent is a common time to experience increased stress and anxiety, with parental instincts activated and running on zero sleep. Life coaching can get worries under control, improve sleep quality and find some balance.
I have extensive experience supporting people on the autistic spectrum. Instead of behavior analysis, I prefer to take a different approach where we work together to tweak our living and working environments to play to our unique strengths.
