Life coaching can be seen as a low intensity, relaxed and goal-orientated approach to investing in yourself.
You may come into coaching with very clear ideas of what you want to work on or you may be less sure, but know that change is needed. Either way, I'll help guide you at your own pace to identify what's important to you, explore your values and aspirations and what's currently getting in the way.
As well as us setting small 'between session' goals, coaching typically involves learning and applying very practical skills you can start using right away.
As a life coach, my main focus will be on working together to create long-lasting change, supporting you to invest in yourself and your quality of life and providing a very safe, supportive and non-judgmental space. We are all unique individuals, so I also prioritize delivering a tailored experience, fitting exactly what you want and need!
Feeling overwhelmed, burnt out and unable to prioritize ourselves are all too common. We can work together to identify your stressors, decide which can be problem solved and learn new coping strategies to balance out the ones we can't.
One of the most common obstacles holding us back, lacking motivation becomes a self-fueling vicious cycle all by itself. Procrastination works similarly too. If you need support with overcoming either, look no further.
Coaching can be a great scaffold to support healthy changes relating to our physical health too - which as we all know has major impacts on our mental wellbeing. The focus can be on diet/weight loss, exercise/strength or both.
Relationships are complex dynamics which we can often struggle to navigate. We can work on communication skills, empathy and understanding, and conflict resolution strategies to help build healthy and fulfilling relationships.
Life coaching can help you achieve your professional goals; whether that's support in identifying your strengths and skills, rediscovering your values and passions or overcoming imposter syndrome and other barriers to progressing.
Becoming a new parent is a common time to experience increased stress and anxiety, with parental instincts activated and running on zero sleep. Life coaching can get worries under control, improve sleep quality and find some balance.
There are usually additional challenges for those of us in the LGBTQ+ community, so it's important to have a space to talk through these with someone who understands. I'm here to listen, empathise, support and problem solve.
I have extensive experience supporting people on the autistic spectrum. Instead of behavior analysis, I prefer to take a different approach where we work together to tweak our living and working environments to play to our unique strengths.
